We are taking the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) very seriously. We are sharing with you what we are doing and have always done, to ensure you have a safe and pleasant stay with us. Our small size helps us to further limit the risk of exposure since there are no crowds.

Maurrocks - A Pocono Mountains B&B, LLC is a licensed, inspected, and insured property that has always maintained high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

 

Each guest room is thoroughly cleaned between guests stays from top to bottom. Our normal cleaning practices already exceed the COVID guidance. For example, you probably didn't realize it, but even before COVID, we sanitized remote controls, light switches, and lampstands & switches as part of our routine cleaning. As of 2020, all guest rooms now have their own private bathrooms, too! Rest assured that your doorknobs, towel racks, showerheads, plumbing surfaces, and even toothbrush holders, soap dispensers, and cup holders, are all sanitized between guests.

All common areas, as well as private areas used to facilitate guest service, such as our kitchen, are cleaned daily to our high standards.

It is helpful to remember that this is also our home. We live here 24/7. We pride ourselves in keeping our home safe and clean for your visits.

In addition to our routine daily cleaning, we have implemented extra measures to keep our guests (and us!) as safe as we possibly can:

 

• Multiple cleaning of all common areas throughout the day with approved disinfectants

• Hand sanitizer will be available in common areas and we have placed hand sanitizer in all guest rooms.

• Disinfecting common surface areas throughout the day (e.g., countertops, light switches, doorknobs, etc.)

• We have replaced our congregate single dining room table with separate tables so that each guest has their own dining area.  Sadly, since the group breakfast is a highlight for many guests, as they get to meet and share experiences with our other guests. 

• We will offer in-room continental breakfast options for those guests who do not feel comfortable eating in our dining rooms. Please let us know and we will discuss your options.

• On warm weather mornings, guests are welcome to use one of our two open-air patios to enjoy their breakfast.

• We use contact-less check-in and out procedures. 

• If you have not paid online in advance of your stay, we will send you an electronic invoice for online payment in lieu of physical handling of your credit card.

• In accord with current Pennsylvania requirements, masks in the common areas are optional only for fully-vaccinated guests. (We are fully vaccinated.) We do have masks for guest use for those who do not have their own. Keep in mind that many Pennsylvania businesses will still require masks. 

• Social distancing -- we've been doing that long before COVID! After all, isn't that part of the B&B experience -- getting away?! We will maintain our distance and ask that you do likewise, and our inside and outside areas offer full opportunity to socially distance!

The health, well-being, and safety of our guests and staff are of paramount importance to us. In order to keep our guests as safe as possible, we will continue to monitor the latest developments tied to this current virus issued by federal, state, local, and community leaders, and implement all necessary measures to maintain your safety while visiting us.
